| | We hear a lot of people these days babbling about Germany being the best team in Europe at the moment. I'm not really sold on that one. What do you guys think? |

| | There's actually quite a few teams that could win the Euro without being a surprise, and then you have the surprises, like Greece in '04.... |

| The Bundestrainer revealed his final decision on Wednesday lunchtime following Germany’s 2-2 draw with Belarus in their first warm-up game on Tuesday. “The decision was a very difficult one for out training team to come to” admitted Löw. “It was millimetre decision, because each of the three players would have deserved their place in the final squad if selected. “This isn’t a decision based on their quality; they have performed superbly at our training base in Mallorca and made an excellent impression. “Patrick Helmes, Jermaine Jones and Marko Marin all have an excellent future with the national team and will no doubt be back involved after the European Championships and have an important role to play” he concluded. Final German Squad: Goalkeepers: Jens Lehmann, Robert Enke, Rene Adler Defenders: Arne Friedrich, Clemens Fritz, Marcell Jansen, Philipp Lahm, Per Mertesacker, Christophe Metzelder, Heiko Westermann Midfielders: Michael Ballack, Tim Borowski, Torsten Frings, Thomas Hitzlsperger, David Odonkor, Simon Rolfes, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Piotr Trochowski Forwards: Mario Gomez, Miroslav Klose, Kevin Kuranyi, Oliver Neuville, Lukas Podolski Mathew Burt |
