no... even our dear milanfan009 has come to terms with the uefa cup.. he's been watching the past couple of uefa cup finals just to get himself in tune with the competition :p (j/k)

to me .. serie a is over

inter won
then roma
then juve
then fiorentina

game over

same could be said about the epl, unless by some fuckin miracle manU lose twice in a row.

Flamini has gone officially to Ac. Inter want Hleb and his agent said he will buy out the rest of his contract to join inter.. believed to be around £3 million. How cheap.

poor arsenal ..

then again.. we were feeling bad for the bastards when they sold henry, and look at what they fuckin did in the league!!

heck, they gave us a run for our money in the CL too..

arsenal are a unique team... the PLAYERS dont make the team, but rather the TACTICS and the style of play...

wenger could pick any any bunch of "potential" players and mould them into his system..

my money's on flamini and hleb to be big flops in ac and inter

just like henry was a flop in barca...

you'll see

Good comment Ahmad, although I see Hleb still making some kind of impact anywhere, I really like him.

As far as Milan goes, I'm anxious to see what direction they will take after finishing 5th. They sure need an overhaul in defense, they need a few more offensive players with Pippo getting older, Ronaldo being uncertain (to say the least) and Gilardino being next to useless. But will they be willing to spend the money while being out of the CL?

ac brazil need at least 2 seasons of transfers and geling the team to get back to where they "should" be ..

they didnt learn from manU or other teams by quickly buying young talents and including them in their starting line up... pato alone isnt gonna solve their problems when theyve got an aging defence and a monkey ass keeper.

anyway.. they'll rise again.. im sure of it

read somewhere that they're pulling out of the Ronaldinho chase because they can't compete with the offer made by Manchester City.

If top italian teams can't compete with mid-table english teams like Manchester City, there's a definite problem with European football. We already know before the beginning of the season that there's 98% chance that the Champions league winner will come from England, Spain or Italy. Now if Italians are out of the picture, and with top spanish teams not having been models of performance and consistency in the near past, european competitions might begin to be very dull

its not that simple..

look at arsenal.. they had to sell their players due to financial pressure. the couldnt compete with the likes of barca and acmilan.

and now manu are having to sell ronaldo to real madrid.

wooopidooo Very Happy

Arsenal sell because that's the way they play the game, they'd have the money to spend much more if they wanted to. If ManU sell Ronaldo, it will be because the guy wants to leave, not because we cannot afford him. But when AC Milan want a player (providing they really want him, that is) and that they can't compete financially with Man City, I think there's a problem here. If no league can compete with EPL teams, competitions like CL and UEFA cup will become meaningless. Obviously we're not there yet, and we can only congratulate EPL bosses for marketing their product so well, but if the trend of the last few years continues, international club football might become quite boring

i think you're going overboard here ... exaggerating

1- flamini went to serie a for MONEY .. other EPL teams did not / could not compete.

2- i know youre talking about ronaldinho... the thing with having a billionaire owner is, HE choses to buy whoever HE wants. and that might not always be to the best of the team/managers interest. we all remember a guy called shevchenko.

I think this is all just a phase .. the Serie A had its time in the limelight, and so did the Liga before that..

you never know .. inter might finally win the CL next year and this discussion would be over.
